Is it, Cracker? I believed those myths too.

So why do we see so many trainers hanging  over telegraph wires? Answers on a postcard, please smile

They stopped chucking trainers over wires round here some time ago, nowadays we see and odd trainer or shoe in the side of the road which we think indicates a meeting place.

I've just passed a shop with shoes in the window, there's no subtlety about these meeting places anymore!!

It just means someone lost a shoe
I bet no drug dealer ever chucked shoes over wires.

Tabby, drugs are everywhere these days, we have little crime to worry about but drink and drugs across the whole society is a problem as I see it.  People my age who can't get past lunch time without opening a wine bottle.

I hope  the users have more success with it than I did when I was in labour. I was given Nitrous oxide with 3 of mine, and it had no effect whatsoever.

Really?  I thought it was amazing, really took the edge off.  Are you sure your canister wasn't empty?

Maybe but it would be a coincidence if all of them were empty. It gave me something to do though, putting that rubber mask over my face, in fact  the midwives said that quite often it is a matter of giving yourself something to do to take your mind off the pain. Didn't work in my case.

That's so strange.  I just breathed into it as the contraction built up and I just floated off somewhere, just coming back to earth as the contraction was dying away.  Marvellous!   They didn't give me one with my first and I didn't know to ask, it was dreadful.
