Day 11 since social distancing started. 259 UK deaths in past 24 hours. 73 total confirmed infections in Oldham
There are a LOT of people putting in an unimaginable effort lately to keep our little town ticking over as smoothly as possible. Please reply with your shout outs for who is going the extra mile. I know that our 3 pharmacists are working 60+ hour weeks to keep up with demand whilst suffering from staff shortages and increased demand.
What is the current pressure point? What need is not being met locally? What are people doing well? What are not doing well enough yet?

9th HOME DELIVERY SERVICE ADDED
I've added a 9th home delivery service to the homepage at www.iloveroyton.com . It's Arundel Bakery in Oldham who are offering free delivery with no minimum spend to support those isolating. They sell all kinds of pies from £5 for a plate size and some more expensive larger tray sizes. They offer contactless payment on your doorstep or you can pay by bank transfer. See www.iloveroyton.com for the order link.
TYLE LODGE FISHING STOPPED
There are reports of people still fishing on the lodge up in Thornham. I can't find the quote now but I understand that those in charge have said they will revoke the fishing license of anyone fishing at this time.

UNFOLLOW ANY FRIEND OR PAGE THAT PEDALS FAKE NEWS
Facebook is a breeding ground for fake news and conspiracy theories. Unfollow any friend or page who pedals that junk. It's bad for your mind, bad for society and bad for our survival efforts. Take your info from the WHO and the NHS.
