ORDER GROCERIES BY PHONE FOR HOME DELIVERY
Many older people don’t have internet and can’t order online so I’ve added phone numbers next to some of the grocery home delivery services at www.iloveroyton.com

MJs PUTTING A MASSIVE EFFORT IN
They are working 17-hour days (and the rest) to keep food on the doorsteps of local people who need to stay at home and isolate. My personal opinion is that young and healthy people should hold back from ordering online so that we are leaving room for those "at risk" and key workers to claim the goods they need. Here is a status to say thanks to MJs for their non-stop hard work.

ROYTON POST OFFICE

IS IT OK TO DRIVE TO TANGS?
1000 people voted and 88% said no we shouldn’t be driving to Tandle Hills to exercise or walk dogs at the moment

PRESCRIPTION DELIVERIES
Market Square pharmacy are offering home delivery of prescriptions but they are running at full capacity. Many residents are talking about Well Pharmacy not answering calls or messages this past few days. ILR received a PM today from a single parent stuck at home unable to collect a prescription because her and her toddler are isolating. I’m following this up tomorrow morning.

ILR HOTLINE
Today I’ve set up a dedicated landline phone number in case there becomes a need for it. It is running off the call answering service that we use at work which means all calls are taken by a real human who takes the messages and emails it to me. I’m poised and ready to launch the hotline when we it becomes obvious that it is needed.

BORED?
We have an archive of recent blog posts here: https://iloveroyton.com/blog
I don’t recommend reading it. It’s very dull.
